Privacy policy
Effective October 25, 2026.
SecurityReport.io is published by Matt Moreschi. This page covers the site at securityreport.io and the images it serves from cdn.securityreport.io.
The short version: the site has no ads, sets no tracking cookies of its own, and does not sell or share personal information for advertising.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies. Vercel tells visitors apart with a hash of the incoming request and discards it after 24 hours, so a visit cannot be tied to you or followed across other sites. Each page view records the page address, the referring site, your country and region, browser, operating system and device type.
On top of page views, the site records four kinds of event, with no personal information attached:
- a click on an affiliate link, with the vendor's name and where on the page the link was
- a click on any other link to another site, with that site's domain and the guide it was clicked from
- opening the site search, with whether it was opened by button or keyboard shortcut
- a click on a search result, with the result's category
Search itself runs in your browser. What you type into the search box is not sent to us or to anyone else.
Hosting and image delivery
Pages are served by Vercel. Images are stored in Cloudflare R2 and served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, both receive your IP address and browser details when you load a page or image, and keep request logs for security and troubleshooting under their own policies. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.
Fonts are bundled with the site, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service.
Affiliate and vendor links
Some links go to a vendor or an affiliate network (Impact, PartnerStack, CJ and others). When you click one, that company may set its own cookies so it can credit us if you buy. Those cookies are set by the vendor or network, not by us, and their privacy policies apply. We see sales totals and commission reports. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. The affiliate disclosure explains how these links work.
If you email admin@securityreport.io, we keep the message and your address for as long as the conversation needs, and we do not add you to any list.
The site does not run a mailing list and does not collect email addresses through any form.
Selling and sharing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. There are no advertising pixels or retargeting tags on this site.
Your requests
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email admin@securityreport.io from the address in question, or describe what you want removed. We reply within 45 days. For data held by Vercel, Cloudflare or an affiliate network, we will help you reach them, but their own processes apply.
Children
The site is written for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and a change to how existing information is used is described at the top of the page.
